I flew back from New York City for the holidays. I managed to meet up with my cousin Teresa and her family, as well as my brother Kevin. The bulk of my time was spent in Copenhagen, New York living with my friend Mark Snyder's family. I spent most of that time sitting on my ass, but did work as a substitute high school teacher to make some Christmas cash. Copenhagen is a very small town in upstate New York. I was very close to the St. Lawrence River and just an hour from the Canadian border. My brother is stationed at nearby Fort Drum so we got to meet up several times. I also went to Canada one weekend to party in a town called Kingston.

I was in Lawrence until December 20th for fraternity initiation, which went well. Spent Christmas in Augusta and Wichita with family. On the 28th of December I headed to Reno, Nevada with Rob, Josh and Trung to celebrate the new year. We rented a Jeep Cherokee and drove it over 3,800 miles in 6 days. Josh, Rob and I went skiing near Salt Lake City at Brighton.

We stayed 3 nights at Harrah Casino in Reno. You have to love eating steak meals at 3:00 A.M. for $1.99, free drinks at all casinos, dancing with incredible women all night, and spending the Millenium with some of your best friends.
Below: I had a 4th row seat to see the sold out Wayne Newton show at the Silver Legacy Casino; Rob and I rang in the new year with front row seats at the Willie Nelson concert in Sparks, Nevada.

The party continued after the concert as Rob and I hit the dance club until 5:00 A.M. I can honestly say this was the most fun I have ever had dancing. I spent the evening in my tuxedo surrounded by some of the best looking women I have ever seen.

Rob and I used our considerable clout to secure all access backstage passes to the Willie Nelson concert the following night as well. We met everyone in the band, caught the sold-out show free, took lots of pictures, drank some tequila, and got a few autographs.

We managed to meet some British showgirls from Spirit of the Dance during our last wild night on the town.
Below: Rob has his mojo working overtime with Jessica, Rachel, and Amy; Rob and I share some premium Johnny Walker Blue at $20 per shot.
