Current Events--Seattle

In February of 2001 I hit the road for Seattle on what would be a journey of over 2,000 miles. I drove the entire way myself over the span of about a week. The trip took me through Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, and Oregon. I stayed with my Aunt Mary Lou near Salt Lake City, saw the Cowboy Hall of Fame in Cheyenne, passed Snake River Canyon and other sites too numerous to mention.

At the end of February I moved in with my cousin Mark just south of Seattle. I stayed with him a few months while I worked on finding a job and fixing my car. Before long I had several jobs and moved out on my own to the house in Renton.

My main job was wine sales and distribution with a small company called St. Hilaire Cellars. As crazy as it sounds I also worked 3 other jobs too. I literally got paid to drink wine, drive around the Puget Sound area, hang out in bars giving away cigarettes, go to rock concerts/sporting events, and sometimes bartend. Life was rough! I kept very busy with all these fun jobs, but did find time to have a few new hobbies such as skydiving, skiing, acting, writing, internet research, etc..
