My travel plans for the summer and fall of 1999 were very extensive. I was on a plane for Paris just a few days after finishing final exams in late May and did not return home to Kansas until October 14th. I spent nearly 5 months studying abroad, working, and traveling. The reasons for my extended holiday were based on requirements for school and also my desire to stay in Europe.
